Full-mouth gum cleaning (FMOP)
A detailed cleaning of all teeth and gum pockets using ultrasonic instruments to remove hard tartar, plaque and bacterial deposits below the gumline.
Curettage & root surface debridement
Gentle scraping of the infected soft tissue lining inside gum pockets, combined with smoothing of the root surface so that gums can reattach more firmly.
Gum flap procedures
For deep pockets, a small flap of gum is lifted to allow direct access for thorough cleaning and reshaping of the underlying bone, then sutured back for easier maintenance.
Gum & bone grafting
Where there is localised loss of support, grafts may be used to rebuild bone or thicken thin gums around important teeth, improving both health and appearance.

What causes bleeding gums?
Bleeding when you brush or floss is usually a sign of plaque and tartar build-up causing gum inflammation (gingivitis). If left untreated, it can progress to periodontitis with bone loss.
Can gum disease be reversed?
Early-stage gingivitis can often be reversed with professional cleaning and good home care. More advanced periodontitis can be controlled and managed, but the lost bone support usually cannot fully return.
Is deep cleaning (scaling) painful?
Full-mouth cleaning is done gently and may include numbing for deeper pockets. Most patients resume normal activities the same day with only minor sensitivity.
